District 5 Bator Tournament 12U Champions

The 12U District All Star team entered the 25th Annual Alan S. Bator Memorial Tournament hosted by Southington North with something to prove. After ending pool play with a 5-0 record, the team was awarded a bye and awaited their opponent in the semifinals. On Sunday, they met the host team Southington North and were able to defeat them 12-1, setting up a finals match up against Jack Barry. Behind the solid pitching, timely hitting, aggressive base running, and good team defense that this team has shown throughout their experience together, Yalesville was able to bring home the Championship after plating seven runs in the second, and never looking back en route to a 9-4 victory! Congratulations to the 12U Yalesville Little League District 5 All Star team on winning the Bator Tournament title, and all that they have accomplished over these past years!
