Connecticut District 5 Little League will be holding their District 5 tournament this Fall, solely at the 12 year old age group level. The tournament would begin on August 29th, 2020 and will be a double elimination format (no pool play - lose twice and the team is eliminated) with games held on the weekend and possibly during the week. If the team advances, the State Tournament would begin September 19th.

Due to the fact that there is only on team at the 12 Year Old Level (Little League 10yo-12yo team), the Board of Directors has voted to allow ALL Majors to evaluate for this team. Evaluations will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 15th and 16th from 10am to 12pm on Field 1 at Parker Farms. Players that would like to be considered for the team MUST attend at least one of the evaluations, but are absolutely welcome to attend both if they were not happy on Saturday.

Following evaluations, a combination of scoring from the weekend and Majors coach’s feedback from the season will be used to put the team together.

How you answered on the All Star interest survey that went out a couple weeks ago does not disqualify you from evaluating. We are encouraging all players who wish to participate to attend.
